Under the best circumstances it will take a few days to complete the appraisal of the practice, determine the preferred transition and prepare for marketing, The time required to locate the right purchaser can be weeks to months depending on market demand and pricing. Once an offer is accepted the time to each closing is usually within 4 days. If the goal is to go the corporate route, the timing could be a few months depending on the data availability and due diligence time required.
